Privacy policy

Effective 23 July 2026 · GK Clinics, Adoni

This policy explains what information GK Clinics(“we”, “the clinic”) collects when you book appointments through our website or the GK Clinics Android app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run your appointments — nothing more.

What we collect

Booking on the website (no account needed):your mobile number, the patient’s name, and the appointment details you choose (doctor and date).

App account: your mobile number, name, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we cannot read it).

Clinic records:at your visit, clinic staff may record basic details such as age, gender, blood group, visit notes, and a follow-up date in the clinic’s patient register.

Medical documents: prescriptions, lab reports, and any photos or scans you choose to upload, stored so we can show them to you and the clinic team. They are deleted with your account.

Second-opinion requests: if you use “Get a genuine opinion”, we collect the name and mobile number you enter, any note you add, and the reports or photos you attach, so our doctors can review your case and respond.

Notifications: if you use the app, a device notification token so we can send appointment reminders.

We do not access your location, contacts, or photo library, and we take no card, bank, or UPI credentials — UPI payments are completed inside your own UPI app, and the only files we receive are the documents and images you deliberately attach. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

To manage your appointments (booking, confirmation, cancellation), send you appointment reminders, and — only if you keep the “Health tips & offers” switch on in the app — the occasional notification about health camps or clinic offers. You can turn those off anytime; appointment reminders stay on.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers that run this service on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database), and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (app notifications). If we send you an SMS reminder, it goes through an SMS delivery provider. Each processes your data only to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

Your app account (login credentials and notification tokens) is kept until you delete it. Appointment and visit records are retained in the clinic’s patient register, as clinics are expected to keep records of the care they provide.

Deleting your account

You can delete your app account at any time — in the app under Profile → Delete account, or on the web at gk-clinics.vercel.app/delete-account. Deletion immediately removes your login credentials and notification tokens, so you can no longer sign in and will not receive notifications. Visit records remain in the clinic register; to request their erasure too, contact the clinic directly.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it, and you may raise a grievance about how it is handled. Call us at +91 9700949414 or visit the clinic at 21/146/1, Saibaba Nagar, SKD Colony 1st Road, Adoni, Andhra Pradesh 518301.

Children

Appointments for children must be booked by a parent or guardian using their own mobile number and account.
